State league: Neumarkt dupes Partschins

The newcomer from the lower country won 1-0 against second-placed Partschins. A week after the 0-5 debacle against St. Pauls, a header from Marco Primeranoden made Neumarktner's away coup perfect. For captain Matthias Greif and Co., the “threesome” in Partschins was the first victory after four defeats in a row.

In Natz, too, it looked for a long time on Saturday afternoon as if the outsider would cause the favorites to falter. Natz, currently in penultimate position in the regional league standings, held a goalless draw against Plose until the last minutes of the game, but then Plose's goal guarantor Hansjörg Stockner struck and decided the derby in favor of the team from Brixen's local mountain with the only goal of the game.

In the last match of the day, Stegen beat AFC Moos 2-1. The Pusterers took a 2-0 lead through Michael Gruber and Markus Mutschlechner II before Stefan Reinstadler reduced the score to 1-2. However, Moos couldn't do more than score - the home team suffered their eleventh defeat of the season against Stegen and remain in last place in the table.
