State league: Only Eppan has to give up on the top teams

Thanks to a goal from Claudio Barbetti after around 40 minutes, Weinstraße Süd prevailed in Leifers and fended off the attacks of their pursuers. After a tough fight, Partschins defeated SG Schlern 3-2. The guests from the high plateau took the lead after just two minutes through Arno Trocker. After around a quarter of an hour, Michael Tscholl equalized. A little more than ten minutes later, Felix Rungg gave Partschins the lead with a penalty. The same player scored again after about an hour from a penalty to make it 3-1 and the game seemed to be decided. Just five minutes later, Markus Lantschner reduced the score to 2:3. Then the SG Schlern had used up their powder and it remained a 3-2 win for Partschins. The spectators at Rungghof didn't see any goals in the game between Eppan and SC Passeier. This increased the gap between Überetscher and leaders Weinstraße to four points. On Saturday, Milland (2:1 against Plose) and Lana won in Stegen with 5:1 goals (see own report). Latzfons Verdings celebrated their biggest win on Sunday with a 5-1 win in Meran. Latsch celebrated an important victory in the fight to stay in the league against Freienfeld. Georg Kaufmann scored the decisive goal shortly before the end. Salurn’s win against SSV Bruneck falls into the same category. The “golden goal” came from Florian Joppi in the 51st minute.

There were almost all victories for the teams at the top of the table. Only Eppan had to be content with a goalless draw. Latzfons Verdings celebrated the biggest victory on Sunday.
