State league: Obermais is giving up for the first time this year

The second-placed team from Meran had to settle for a 1-1 draw against ASV Natz, who had recently been in crisis. Although Andreas Klotzner gave the FCO a 1-0 lead, Kevin Holzner equalized for the home team with a quarter of an hour to go. Obermais therefore has to suffer a setback in the title race, because its direct rival from Naturns was able to score points.

Naturns puts character to the test The Ligakrösus from Lower Vinschgau extended their lead at the top to three points with an impressive 4:3 win against SC Passeier. The SSV was behind 0:2 and 2:3 in St. Leonhard, but equalized in each case and even moved to 4:3 with a last-minute goal from Elias Tappeiner.

In the top half of the table, Lana (2-0 against Moos), Partschins (1-0 at Sciliar) and Plose (2-0 at Neugries) also achieved an important “threesome” on Sunday.

Things are getting tricky for Bozen 96 and Pichl Gsies

Meanwhile, FC Bozen 96 didn't get a win again. The crisis club from the state capital couldn't get beyond a draw at home against relegation rivals Stegen. The game ended with a spectacular 4:4.

The in-form kickers from SG Latzfons Verdings also scored four goals, defeating bottom team Pichl Gsies 4-0.
