State league: Obermaiser championship party in someone else's living room?

Just one more point and then Obermais has made it: With three games to go, the Merano team is nine points ahead of Weinstraße Süd. In order to achieve the mathematical certainty of the championship title, Martin Ciaghi & Co. need at least a draw or a slip-up on the wine route in Latzfons - then the bow around the championship package can finally be tied. Weinstraße Süd has long since written off the championship title, but second place can no longer be taken away from the Unterlanders. Johannes Huber & Co. need two out of nine possible points from the last three games so that second place can no longer be disputed. With a win in the home game against Voran Leifers the promotion piece would be accomplished, as this year the first two teams in the regional league are known to be in the upper league. For Weinstraße Süd it would be the first season in the top regional league.

From the land of milk and honey to the dark forest So much for the land of milk and honey of the table. The dark forest, on the other hand, builds up further back. There is a lot of fire there - but the situation is not hopeless for anyone (yet). Sure: the worst cards are shown Millandauf. With 22 points, the Eisacktalers are in last place in the table and will be guests at Plose on Friday evening. Certainly – a construction opponent looks different. The Millanders are particularly hopeful because of the loss of Hansjörg Stockner, who has to pass due to a yellow card suspension. Nevertheless, it is a decider for the Eisacktaler, who are threatened with relegation, as their chances of staying in the league would be reduced to microscopic sizes in the event of a defeat. Salurn and Bozner Boden also face a game of fate, which will meet on Talferplatz B. With a win, the Unterlanders could gain a lot of breathing room in the relegation battle, otherwise the former Oberliga dinosaur would be dragged back into the relegation vortex. Latsch, currently in third-to-last position in the table, can have legitimate hopes of a win against Partschinser, who have recently been weak.

State league: Obermaiser championship party in someone else's living room?

The 2015/16 league season has been history since Sunday. Now the national league is also entering the home straight. On the north side of the table the decisions have almost been made, but on the south side everything is still open.
