State league: St. Pauls gets off to a lightning start

The Paulsner team took advantage of Partschins' goalless draw on Saturday in Stegen to gain a full point and draw level with the leaders. The Überetscher defeated newly promoted Neumarkt - driven by double goalscorers Jonas Clementi and Silvio Deliallisi - 5-0.

SG Latzfons Verdings is also at the forefront again at the start of the second half of the season. The Überetscher celebrated a last-minute victory in Freienfeld.

SC Plose suffered a bitter setback, losing 1-4 in the home game against Salurn. Armand Xeka led the yellow-reds to victory with two goals. Salurn thus overtakes its direct rival from the Isarco Valley in the ranking.

One goal was enough for Voran Leifers to put Kellerkind Natz in his place. Vahrn and Bruneck played a goalless game.

State league team FC St. Pauls started the second half of the season with a 5-0 thumping against Neumarkt and moved up to league leaders Partschins.
