State league: St. Pauls pulls ahead on the last matchday of the first half of the season

Now it is certain: FC St. Pauls will winter at the top - regardless of the result in the game against Meran last weekend, which has not yet been homologated. The Klotzner team defeated Kellerkind Latsch in a thrilling game 4:3. St. Pauls had temporarily pulled away to 3-1 thanks to goals from Bovolenta, Delueg and Giacomuzzi before the Vinschgers caused tension again. Fabi scored the goal to make it 4-2 with a penalty, before Lo Presti reduced the deficit again with his third goal in the final minute.

Bozen 96 makes a mistake in Kurtatsch

Paulsner's worst opponents, FC Bozen 96, couldn't get past a 1-1 draw against Weinstraße Süd. Up until the 90th minute it even looked like a surprise coup by the ten-man Unterlanders (Ranzi was red in the 41st minute) before the guests equalized and thus defended second place in the table.

Virtus Don Bosco continues to take up positions behind Bozen 96. The Talferstädter won confidently against Natz 2-0. Mariz and Pasquali scored the goals.

Pichl Gsies also won its home game against Stegen 2-0, while FC Moos scored an important “threesome” in a 2-1 away win against Bozner Boden. A goal from Brunner in the final phase was enough for SC Passeier to bring Neugries to its knees 1-0. However, the Malleier brothers made their big appearance in Nals' 4-1 win against the Schlern syndicate. They contributed all four goals to the Etschtaler's victory.

The last first round match day in the national football league was played on Sunday. The Überetscher secured the autumn championship title with a hard-fought home win, while their rivals Bozen 96 unexpectedly gave up.
