The Pellegrini squad, which started the season with high expectations, disappointed across the board in the first two championship games and, after the many changes within the team, do not seem to have yet found the rhythm of the game. However, the situation is completely different for the Eisacktalers: Considered by many experts to be relegation candidates, the Natzers achieved just as many wins in the first two games and are now greetings from the top of the table. With a win, Aichner & Co. would not only consolidate their top position, but also further exacerbate the guests' crisis. Latzfons Verdings, the second team with full points, will be visiting Kurtatsch near Weinstraße Süd on Sunday. The “Unrelegables” started the season again this year with the goal of staying in the league and – just like Natz – have so far far exceeded their own expectations. Stuefer & Co. made a big statement, especially with their victory over co-favorite Plose. However, the game against Weinstraße Süd will be a tough nut to crack for the Rienzner team, as the home team also got off to a strong start with four points from two games. This year, the Unterlanders can once again rely on their strike trio Dellasega-Amofah-Fabris, who have already scored four times and played a key role in the strong start to the championship. If coach Fabio Ianeselli has his way, the three can continue against Latzfons exactly where they left off against Partschins and Latsch and spoil the ice for the Eisacktalers with their goals.
