Luca Lomi: “We absolutely have to score points”

The 0-4 defeat against Pontisola left its mark on the Virtus soul. That's why coach Luca Lomi appeals to his team: “There are no alternatives: We have to score against Pro Patria – no ifs or buts. We have prepared the game intensively all week and know that we will face a very strong opponent. In my opinion, Pro Patria is one of the seven or eight strongest teams in our district. It will be a difficult game, but I expect a reaction from my team.”

Against Pro Patria, Lomi will still have to be without Daniele De Simone, who is still in Napoli for family reasons. New signing Soufiane Khedim is in the game and could make his debut from the bench.

Pro Patria experienced a change after its relegation from the Lega Pro last year - but striker Mario Alberto Santana (formerly of Fiorentina, Napoli, Palermo, Siena and Turin) remained loyal to the team and is one of the absolute exceptional talents in the Lombard team.
