Messi, Ronaldo or van Dijk: UEFA names Europe's best footballer

Last year, Cristiano Ronaldo - it's still rumored in Monaco today - roared back to Turin in a sports car in a rage when he found out that it wasn't he, but Luka Modric, who would be named Europe's Footballer of the Year. This year, for the first time, a Dutchman could snatch the title of best footballer on the continent from the Portuguese superstar.
