Morktplotz tournament: Haribo makes children happy

GROUP D So retro Bayern shirts bring luck: The Terzer restaurant, led by Mr. Concrete Mixer Simon Sanoll, won Group A with extravagant outfits but solid ball play. Last year's finalists, the Blue Football Dwarfs, also made the obligatory entry into the Champions League perfect in the style of a 20-year-old trophy, i.e. without any shine. The Vorarlberg team with back problems Monfort were able to enjoy the loudest fans on the Morktplotz, but, just like for Real Zizou, it was only enough for the Europa League. No, not the Speckies, which were filled with numerous Kalter promotion heroes. No, not even the Green Bulls Girlan, who have been one of the long-running favorites on the Morktplotz for years. No, in the end the gummy bear gang, led by Tim Messner, caused the big surprise - and not just because the small but loud fans were repeatedly supplied with Haribo gummy bears. The youngsters also gave their football a lot of steam. With the youngest team and the youngest player in the entire tournament (striker Niki is just 15 years old), thanks to the better goal difference, they took second place and thus made it into the Champions League perfect. Haribo makes children happy – but apparently not so much for adults. The Gummibären Gang caused a stir as the Morktplotz's youngest team.

FC Speckies 3 GROUP F A bet on the Morktplotz always feels a bit like a visit to the slot machine for a player: intense, nerve-wracking, exhausting - and after 2 minutes the fun is usually over (temporarily), i.e. there is a substitution. PSV Centos could only dream of this: arriving late, with four field players, one goalkeeper and NOT a single change, the Val Gardena team showed what they are made of at Morktplotz and sensationally secured group victory. Four players plus goalkeeper – that’s all you need. Or, PSV Centos?

The Schenners from Moscardelli Party Army took second place, while the highly promoted Gauchos from Kaltern had to make do with last place. After all, they were able to celebrate the best goal of the tournament so far: Fabian Obrist smashed the ball into the gable from a half-right position against Benidrom in such a magnificent way that mail from the Chamber of Craftsmen is supposedly already on the way: All that's missing to pass the carpentry exam is the theoretical part . The Gauchos (in Argentina shirts) stumbled.
