After heart problems: Longer break for FCK coach Strasser - is Frontzeck coming?

Kaiserslautern (SID) Coach Jeff Strasser from 1. FC Kaiserslautern will not be available for the bottom team in the 2nd Bundesliga in the coming weeks. As the FCK announced on Wednesday, the 43-year-old from Luxembourg was diagnosed with temporary cardiac arrhythmias in connection with a spread of flu. Strasser will probably have to take a break for four to six weeks with a doctor-prescribed rest. His future as FCK coach seems more than open. The club also announced that it would provide information “in a timely manner” about the future appointment of the coaching position. According to information from kicker and Rheinpfalz, Michael Frontzeck (53) will be introduced as the new head coach on Thursday. There was initially no confirmation from the FCK. "This is a difficult situation for me. I would like to train again today, but I have to listen to the doctors and accept that this is not sensible at the moment," said Strasser: "I also have a great responsibility towards my wife, my children and my health”. Doctors are confident that Strasser will make a full recovery. "The most important thing for us is that Jeff Strasser gets completely healthy again.
