Naturns can plan for the Oberliga

The match between class leader Naturns and second-placed Obermais was undoubtedly the top game of the round and lived up to its name. No fewer than eight goals were scored in the encounter, with the home team leaving the field as winners in the end. The championship title and the associated promotion to the top league should no longer be taken away from the yellow-blue team. In Naturns it was the guests from Obermais who initially took the lead. Dennis Malleier was able to take advantage of a mistake by Fliri in the first minute and net the ball to make it 1-0. It stayed this way until the 27th minute, then the hosts turned the game around. First Felix Peer scored after Matthias Bacher's preparatory work, before the captain was able to celebrate the goal himself a little later after a successful shot from 30 meters.

In the second half of the game, 17-year-old Stephan Lanpacher increased the score to 3-1 before Martin Ciaghi headed the score to 2-3. However, Bacher restored the two-goal lead ten minutes later. The home team had to continue playing with ten men from the 75th minute (Gregor Hofer saw red), with Martin Ciaghi scoring the goal for the FCO with a penalty. Shortly before the end, however, Matthias Bacher came into the spotlight again and made the final score 5:3 with his third goal of the day. In the table, SSV Naturns is now eight points ahead of the Burggräfler.

Lana had to share the points away with Schlern on Wednesday, while the Unterlandlers lost 2:4 against Plose. Like Bacher from SSV Naturns, Plose striker Hansjörg Stockner once again shone as a triple goalscorer on matchday 26. The duel for the top scorer's crown remains exciting. Stockner now has 29 hits, Bacher 27.
