Zero number: FC Südtirol and Pro Vercelli are not hurting each other

Manuel Scavone appeared 127 times in the FC Südtirol jersey and led them to the third highest league for the first time in 2010 with his best professional season to date. On Sunday he met his former club as an opponent for the first time. However, he remained just as pale as all of the other 21 players on the field.

FCS coach Claudio Rastelli was able to rely on Furlan again in the home game. He moved Bassoli to the right side of defense and had Kiem play in the center again. Fink was also allowed to play from the start.

The first period of the game clearly belonged to the Piedmontese, who tested FCS goalie Micai several times. In return, the home side never really managed to mount any useful counterattacks. It wasn't until the 32nd minute that Furlan tried a harmless long-range shot. A minute before the break, Campo shot the ball past the goal from a central position.

FCS a little braver after the break

Both teams also performed at an extremely mediocre level in the second half of the game. Both FC Südtirol and Pro Vercelli concentrated primarily on rock-solid defensive work. In the 58th minute, Bassoli tried a long ball, in return Scavone tested Micai with a long shot. The FCS only slowly began to play more courageously forward. But there was nothing more than a final attempt from Dell'Agnello and a header from Kiem that went just over the crossbar. So in the end it was a goalless draw.
