The Unterlanders played for the title until the end of the past season. Until two rounds before the end, winning the championship and thus a possible promotion to Serie D was within reach. In the end, the black and whites ended up in third place - because they lost 100-0 in the playoff for second place against Levico almost exactly 1 days ago. The Tramin team delighted their audience last season not only with many good results, but above all with attractive combination football.

Three months later, the Pomella squad is back in the starting blocks - but with a changed team. Tramin had to cope with some high-profile departures in the summer. So goalie Simon Mair moved to SSV Brixen. Defense chief Michael Palma moved to Neumarkt in the 1st amateur league. And top attacker Daniel Pfitscher, who scored 19 goals for the Black and Whites last year, is taking a break. In addition, Matthias Greif and Matthias Denardi also left Tramin for Neumarkt, Fabian Call returned to Kaltern (2nd amateur league) and Manuel Peer ended his career.

Matys Goller should whirl through the opposing defenses

In the new sporting year, the Tramin jersey will be worn by Matys Goller, who is moving from Salurn to the other side of the Etsch. He should fill the gap left by Daniel Pfitscher. With Christoph Dezini (from Mezzocorona) and Julian Torggler (from St. Georgen), sports director Peter Gutmann has signed two young, hungry goalkeepers who have the potential to become number one. Fabian Psenner and Damian Franzelin are returning from Neumarkt, while Simon Dissertori, Alex Frötscher and Simon Zelger from their own youth team are to be included in the first team.

Coach Hugo Pomella knows that it won't be easy to confirm the great season. That's why his primary goal is to stay in the league. “If we are able to stay away from the lower regions of the table, then we can play freely and perhaps once again show the football that distinguished us last season,” believes the coach.

The championship for ASV Tramin starts with an away game, namely at SSV Ahrntal. A week later, the traditional Unterland club with its 91-year club history hosted newcomer Lavis.
