Oberliga: Newcomer Obermais dismantles SSV Naturns

Who would have expected that? Oberliga returnees Obermais crowned their outstanding first half of the season with a real shooting festival in the eagerly awaited showdown with table neighbors Naturns. Dennis Malleier gave the guests the lead with a wonderful long-range shot before Lukas Höller headed the score and Theo Pamer made it 3-0 before the break with a low shot. Aaron Malleier and Bogdan Ungureanu finally dismantled SSV Naturns into its individual parts with their goals. With this victory, the FCO defends its position in the top field, while Naturns remains in sixth place.

Obermais shares third place with ASV Tramin, who also celebrated five times away from Comano. The Pfitscher cousins Daniel and Alex scored a brace each to give the white and black team a 5-3 win.

No winners in St. Georgen and Eppan

At the front of the field, Trent (3:1 against Alense) continues to run lonely circles. Only Bozner FC can keep up with the title favorites. Bertoldi and Co. put Lavis in their place 3-1.

There was no winner in the goalless duel between St. Georgen and Brixen - as was the game at Eppaner Rungghof between FCE and Ahrntal, which drew 1-1. In the third purely South Tyrolean duel, promoted team Weinstraße Süd made people sit up and take notice with a clear 3-0 win against St. Martin.
