Oberliga: Bozner FC and Naturns offer a football spectacle

The surprise newcomer from the Lower Vinschgau region offered a real goal festival during their guest appearance at Bozner FC. The home team took the lead thanks to a lightning goal from Fabio Bertoldi, but before the break Naturns turned the 0-1 lead into a 3-1 lead. However, the home team fought back again and scored an equalizer three minutes before the end, again through Bertoldi.

Virtus Bozen took advantage of Naturns' loss of points to move within one point of the top. The championship favorite from the state capital beat newly promoted Rotaliana 3-0 away. FC Eppan, who beat Mori Santo Stefano 2-1, is now within reach of first place. The Überetscher are currently in fourth position.

Ahrntal has to keep waiting

In the bottom half of the table, ASV Tramin scored an important 3-1 win against Mezzocorona. Double goalscorer Daniel Pfitscher and Matys Goller scored three goals for the white and black team within five minutes. Meanwhile, the situation at SSV Ahrntal and SSV Brixen continues to deteriorate. While the "Töldra" are still waiting for their first victory after the 0:2 in Storo, the cathedral townsmen suffered another setback with the 0:1 in Levico.

St. Georgen confirmed its upward trend with a 2-1 win against Alense, while St. Martin and Comano drew.
