Oberliga: Ceravolo's special reunion is just a treat

Starting with Bernardo Ceravolo's explosive reunion with his former club Bozner FC. The head of defense, who has been touching concrete at FC Obermais since this season, has recently played for the Talferstadt team for many years and is therefore looking forward to the game. “For me, the duel with Bozner FC triggers a mix of emotions. I'm happy to see many of my former teammates again, but at the same time I want to do well for the FCO. The feeling will be strange when I step onto Talferplatz as an opponent for the first time in years,” Ceravolo is quoted as saying in an interview on the Bozner FC Facebook page.

Bozner FC against Obermais is just one of many tough duels. The derby between St. Pauls and Tramin takes place at Eppaner Rungghof, which, with its 80-year tradition, is one of the oldest in the entire country. The starting position (Tramin is 3rd, St. Pauls 5th) gives the duel another touch of explosiveness.

St. Georgen wants to maintain its lead in the table In the third South Tyrolean duel, St. Georgen goes into the game against St. Martin as favorites. In front of their own audience, the “Jergina” want to keep their clean slate and maintain their lead in the table. Virtus Bozen, currently in second place, has to make the difficult away trip to Storo to face Calciochiese, while Ahrntal also has to play away against Benacense. The “Teldra”, bottom of the table with two points, have still not scored after four games and have therefore never won. That should change on Sunday.

Naturns (against Anaune Valle di Non) and Brixen (against Lavis), however, play at home.
