Oberliga: SSV Brixen leads Obermais - all results

After three game days without a win and only two points in the account, one cannot speak of a crisis at Obermais, that would be premature and presumptuous. But the fact is that the Burggräfler club certainly imagined the start of the season to be different. Against Brixen, the FCO conceded three goals for the third time in a row, a total of nine goals and thus the negative value in the top league. And what should be remembered: Brixen was a lot ahead of the home team in terms of fighting and running. While the Fuschini team has arrived in the championship after the summer break, the Schuster team still has to find its rhythm.

About the match: With a double strike from Lorenzi (28th) and Edenhauser (30th), the Eisacktalers took a 2-0 lead before the break. After the break, Bovolenta made it 3-0 (56'), but the guests could have scored one or two more goals.

The best South Tyrolean team in the top league is another Eisacktal club, namely Plose. After the 2-1 win against Tramin - the goals were scored by Prosch and Stockner - the team of player-coach Matthias Regele has six points and is therefore in second place in the league table.

The fashion result of the third matchday was 1:1. Four of seven games played on Sunday ended with this result: Eppan against Levico, Comano against Ahrntal, Albiano against Naturns and Salurn against Alense. Meanwhile, promoted St. Martin had to admit defeat 2-1 in Dro. Leader Mori had already brought FC Bozen 96 to their knees 2-1 on Saturday.

On the third matchday of the Oberliga, the top game of the round took place on the “Lahn”. The Burggräfler team had to admit defeat to the strong Brixen team 0-3 - and “were still well served with this result,” as the FCO said after the end of the game.
