Oberliga: The final minutes are tough

Things were particularly hot in Bolzano and St. Martin during this cold season. In the top game between Bozner FC and Obermais, the Talferstadt team looked like the sure winners for a long time, after all they had converted a quick 0-1 deficit into a 2-1 lead thanks to Bocchio and Tulipano. But then Aaron Malleier equalized for Obermais at the last second.

St. Martin also showed great morale, having to accept the 90-3 equalizer in a spectacular game against Arco in the 3th minute. But the “Mortiners” believed in themselves until the end and achieved a much celebrated victory a few seconds before the end of the game thanks to a goal from Arthur Tschöll.

Ahrntal can start the return journey of the furthest away trip of the season with a smile. The “Teldra” won 1-0 against Calciochiese thanks to Martin Falkensteiner’s golden goal.

However, there was a setback for Weinstraße Süd, which lost 0-1 in the home game against Comano. In the South Tyrolean duel, Naturns and Brixen shared the points at 0-0. St. Georgen (against Alense) and Eppan (against Lavis) also played 0-0, while Tramin suffered a narrow 0-1 defeat against Trento.
