Oberliga: Eleventh matchday already this evening

In the bottom third of the table, Obermais, bottom of the table, will face the players from FC Bozen 96. The FCO is still chasing its first win of the season and absolutely needs to score points on Wednesday evening in order not to lose touch with the rest of the upper division teams. Almost a week ago, the Burggräfler hired a new coach, Marco Bertoncini, to lead them back into higher league positions. However, on his debut, the Blue-Whites lost to Comano 0-1 in front of their own crowd. Meanwhile, Bozen 96 seems to be gaining momentum. After two wins in a row, the state capital team picked up a point against leaders Salurn on Sunday. On Wednesday against Obermais they should clearly have the three points in their sights.

Brixen, on the other hand, travels to Ahrntal on the eleventh matchday, where second in the table is waiting for them. The “Teldra” suffered a defeat against newly promoted St. Martin in Passeier last Sunday and had to cede the lead in the table to Salurn. Meanwhile, the Eisacktaler achieved a goalless draw against Mori and want to cause the Pusterers to stumble on Sunday. However, this will not be an easy undertaking, as Philipp Aichner & Co. are a force, especially at home: they collected 14 of the 18 points in home games, because “the opponent doesn't win as quickly in Toule,” as coach Johannes Piffrader does in one Interview with SportNews emphasized.

Meanwhile, Salurn wants to defend the top of the table in St. Andrä.
