Oberliga: Eppan provides the next surprise

On Saturday St. Georgen got hit (1:2 in Naturns, SportNews reported), 24 hours later Virtus Bozen. The Tornatore team lost 2:4 against strong Eppan players. StefanClementi and Foldi gave the Überetscher the lead with a double strike. Although Dalpiaz was able to reduce the deficit from the penalty spot before the break, after the break Osti, who had only moved from Virtus Bozen to Eppan in the summer, and Stefan Clementi once again closed the deadlock. Dalpiaz added some cosmetic results with his second goal in stoppage time.

The season for Tramin also didn’t start according to plan. The Pomella protégés had to admit defeat to Comano 0-1. There was also an away defeat for St. Martin. Lavis won 3-2. Baggio had put the “Mortiner” in the lead and briefly canceled out Saltuari Dalfovo’s goal to make it 2-1. In the end, Dauriz made the decision.

In Trentino, Mori is repeatedly mentioned as a candidate for championship. In the away game at Ahrntal, the title contenders couldn't get more than a 1-1 draw. For Alex Brugger, winning points was a good start on his return to the “Teldra” bench. Annoying for Ahrntal: Manuel Pipperger was beaten twice in Mori's penalty area within six minutes, but both times the referee decided on simulation and excluded the attacker with a yellow-red card.

Bozner FC also got a point on the first match day, namely at Alense. The game between the two teams ended goalless. Two games were canceled, namely Brixen against Mezzocorona and Rotaliana against Dro/Calciochiese. Here we have to wait for a ruling from the Sports Court of the National Olympic Committee, which regulates the composition of the various leagues and affects the Trentino championships up to the 3rd amateur league.

Oberliga: Eppan provides the next surprise

The second South Tyrolean title contender, Virtus Bozen, also started the new season with a defeat. The Talferstädter had to admit defeat to AFC Eppan 2:4 in the Drusus Stadium.
