Oberliga: Marco Baggio shoots St. Martin out of the crisis

The ASC St. Martin's dry spell is over! Under the leadership of the interim trainer duo Alex Hofer/David Theiner, the Psairers picked up their first points of the current season in the South Tyrolean duel with SSV Brixen. The decisive factor in the visitors' victory was Marco Baggio, who gave his team an early lead and then made everything clear in the second half with his second and third goals.

In addition to St. Martin, ASV Tramin is also climbing up the table. The white-blacks defeated local rivals Eppan 2-0. Here Max Dalpiaz was the match winner. He made it 1-0 and prepared Simon Greif's second goal from a corner.

St. Georgen and Trient even scored a whopping five times on the fifth matchday: the Puster team beat newcomers Weinstraße Süd - driven by three-goal scorer Thomas Albanese - 5-1, while the sovereign leaders from the neighboring province of Naturns swept away the field 5-0.

Second place in the ranking is currently taken by Bozner FC, who won 1-0 in Comano. With the same result, Ahrntal lost in Lavis, while Obermais and Arco drew 1-1.
