Oberliga: Naturns lands another liberating blow - UPDATE

Plose lost 0-1 against Obermais and missed out on getting rid of all relegation worries early. The Regele team could have really used the “three points” against the bottom team to keep the competition at bay.

Especially because Naturns and Tramin, two direct competitors for a place on the saving bank, were victorious on Sunday and thus overtook the Eisacktalers in the table. Naturns defeated Brixen 3-0 in front of their own audience. The hosts’ goal scorers were Rungg, Tappeiner and “Joker” Ausserer. Tramin also beat Albiano 2-1 on their own ground thanks to a last-minute goal. This means things remain exciting in the relegation battle.

Third-placed Ahrntal celebrated a 4-0 win against Alense, while St. Martin lost 0-1 at Levico. Mori and Salurn played a goalless game. Eppan, however, celebrated a 27-1 away win at Comano on matchday 0. Cirillo scored the winning goal in the 62nd minute.

In the evening game between FC Bozen 96 and leaders Dro there was a division of points. Tadè gave the home team the lead with a beautiful shot in the 54th minute, but the Trentino club equalized with their only chance to score in the 75th minute through Spagnolli.
