Oberliga: Obermais gets a little breathing room

A goal from Elis Kaptina in the 37th minute was enough for league leaders Virtus Bozen to take the three points away from the Ahrntal. St. Georgen celebrated a clear 3-0 win in Bozen against Bozner FC. The goals by Thomas Albanese (63') and Juan Jesus Lucena Gonzales (79' and 85') all came in the last half hour. In the duel between the pursuers, promoted St. Pauls had to lose ground against fourth-placed Calciochiese. The decisive goal came four minutes before the end of the game by Michael Sardisco.

Obermais gains breathing room in the relegation battle Thanks to a clear 3-1 win over Naturns, Obermais moved away from the relegation zone. Theodor Pamer with a free kick (19th) and Dennis Malleier (27th) put the Obermais team on the winning road early on. Naturns had another hope in the 66th minute after Olaf Stark's goal (66'), but Theo Pamer snuffed out all Naturns hopes in the 90th minute with his second goal of the afternoon.

Nothing to get for Tramin, Brixen and St. Martin Tramin suffered a 1-4 defeat away to Comano. St. Martin lost 1-2 to Anaune Val di Non in Cles. For SSV Brixen, the trip to Lake Garde wasn't worth the trip either. In Arco, coach Klaus Schuster's men lost 0-1. Benacense against Lavis ended with a 2-0 win for Lavis.

Even after the 14th matchday, Virtus Bozen leads the table. The people of Bolzano won 1-0 in Ahrntal. Pursuer St. Georgen won 3-0 against Bozner FC in Bozen. Obermais celebrated an important victory in the fight against relegation with a 3-1 win over Naturns.
