Oberliga: Plose and Naturns are fighting for breathing room in the relegation battle

Both teams have 22 points in the table so far, clearly not enough to escape the pull of relegation. Both Plose and Naturns want to change that on Sunday and take an important step out of the relegation zone with a “threesome”.

Especially in the Isarco Valley, people are eagerly waiting for a full point win, as a lead was recently given up in the final minutes twice in a row. The Regele team gave up a 3-1 lead against Mori, while against Ahrntal they lost 1-0 after a 1-2 defeat. The footballers from Naturns, on the other hand, are brimming with self-confidence after their hard-fought victories against Albiano and Bozen 96. It remains to be seen whether the yellow-blue team will continue their upward trend in St. Andrä.

The Plose-Naturns game is also the meeting between the two top scorers Hansjörg Stockner (10 goals) and Felix Rungg (9), who have already secured enormously important victories for Plose and Naturns in the relegation battle on several occasions.
