In St. Andrä, twelfth-placed Plose welcomes promotion contenders St. Georgen, who are currently “only” in eighth place. So far, Plose has won once, lost once and drawn once at home. The Jergina are not exactly what you would call a power away from home: one win (in Naturns) and two defeats (against Alense and in the derby against Ahrntal).

“Our mood is a bit low after Orfanello's serious injury. But by Sunday we will certainly have overcome this shock. It's always difficult with Plose. You will be fully motivated and, as always, run a lot. For us it’s about scoring points away again after the defeats at Ala and in the derby against Teldra,” is the assessment of Roland Harrasser, captain of St. Georgen. Ziviani's use is also questionable and Obrist could also be out due to a minor foot injury.

Tramin faces a “difficult task against a strong team”.

The second purely South Tyrolean duel takes place in Tramin. The Unterlandlers, who are fifth in the table and are the second best South Tyrolean team in the Oberliga to date, will meet Brixen. The Unterlanders recently celebrated a convincing 5-2 away win at Bozner FC. The Bischofstädter team haven't really gotten going yet, but they've gotten a lot of momentum lately, because they still managed a 0-2 draw against Naturns after being 2-2 down. “It will be very, very difficult against Brixen because they have a very good team. It will certainly be a very competitive game,” believes Tramin’s captain Simon Greif.

Two local clubs also face each other in St. Johann im Ahrntal. The Teldra host bottom team Bozner FC. Ahrntal is a power at home, as seven out of nine possible points confirm. Bozner FC has lost three times away from home. “We have to ignore the last negative results. Tick everything off, fight, believe in ourselves, keep going,” is Bernd Saltuari’s motto.

Salurn (4th) has Mori (2nd) as a guest

The top game of the round takes place in Salurn. This is where fourth place and second place Mori meet. Salurn is still undefeated in front of its own crowd with two wins and one draw, Mori has never lost at all this year.

A very difficult task awaits Eppan. Scherer's protégés, who lost out to Alense last Sunday, have to play away again at third-placed Calciochiese. “Calciochiese is one of those teams that I don't know that well yet. The newcomers from Trentino always have a lot of quality, this one is even at the forefront. It will be the usual battle for us,” believes Christian Scherer, the White-Red’s trainer.

Things are anything but easy in Naturns on Sunday. The Vinschgers face front runner Alense. The Chini team will try to sell their skin as expensively as possible in Trentino. A cellar derby, however, takes place in Comano. The Trentino team, currently in 13th place, hosts the penultimate St. Martin. Both teams urgently need the points in order not to miss the connection to the midfield. The seventh matchday concludes with the Trentino derby between Trento and Levico.
