Oberliga: Salurn celebrates in Tramin – Obermais again without a point

The approximately 500 spectators in the Tramin sports zone were treated to a lively but low-scoring neighborhood duel between the two major league veterans Tramin and Salurn. Both teams had good chances to take the lead in the first half: Dalpiaz placed a free kick just wide of the goal, while Elis Kaptina and Alex Pfitscher failed on the home team's side. A header goal from Simon Greif was disallowed for offside. Salurn only took the scepter back towards the end of the game and was finally rewarded with the opening goal: striker Remondini used a long shot from the Salurn goalkeeper to mount a quick counterattack and give Simon Mair the disadvantage in the home team's goal. This was the game-winning goal to make it 1-0 for the yellow-reds.

The football fans in Ala were treated to far more goals, where the home team brought FC Obermais to their knees with a real show of strength 3-2. The Merano team, who had to operate with one less man for the entire half, scored the next goal in the 53rd minute with a remarkable long-range shot from Ennemoser, but the Trentino team held tight at the back in the final phase.

In addition to the FCO, another South Tyrolean team, Bozen 96, is still waiting for the first “threesome”. Worse still: the promoted team from Bolzano suffered their fourth defeat in their fourth game with a 1-4 defeat in Ahrntal. The “Töldra” took merciless advantage of Bozen 96’s lackluster defensive work and increased the result with goals from Aichner (2), Niederklofler and Unterkircher. Sapone scored for the bottom team.

In the second purely South Tyrolean duel between St. Martin and Eppan, the Passeirians won 1-0. Brixen and Naturns had to admit defeat at home against Dro and Comano respectively. Meanwhile, Plose increased its points account with a 2-2 draw in Mori.

On the 4th matchday of the highest regional league, Tramin lost 0-1 to local rivals Salurn. Obermais and Bozen 96, however, are still waiting for their first win of the season.
