TOP LEAGUE SERIES | Obermais: In the role of the shooting star

Obermais came into the league last year as a promoted team and shook up the championship right from the start. The Klotzner protégés followed a strong first half of the season (fourth place) with an even better second half of the season (second place, only three points behind champions Trient) and ultimately took third place with a new points record. Equipped with a broad squad, the highlight of which was the unpredictable offensive led by Romanian bomber Bogdan Ungureanu, the FCO made life difficult for every opponent and was also the only South Tyrolean team that was able to leave the field as winners against Ligakrösus Trient.

After last year's state league title, Obermais got off to a flying start like an Ariane 5 rocket and soon became a shooting star whose soaring will probably continue this year.
