TOP LEAGUE SERIES | Tramin: There are no upper limits

After an almost usual false start to the season (only one point from the first four games), the Tramin team turned on the turbo in autumn 2016 and remained in the top three of the table for a long time.

Only numerous injuries and other failures, which meant that there was almost always a very young team on the field, slowed down coach Hugo Pomella's team somewhat in the second half of the season. By the end of the season, 49 points had been collected - the Tramin team even set the club's own league record from 2014.

In order to prevent a rude awakening, not only were the big pillars of the starting eleven retained, but also a real “hit” was brought to Tramin in Daniele Conci. The club management also more or less adequately replaced the remaining departures - and coach Pomella can also rely on a strong youth sector.

The trainer Hugo Pomella. The perfectionist has been giving the commands on the Tramin sidelines for four years and is known for using his own playing philosophy to ensure respectable football. Pomella is also considered a great supporter of young talent.

The player Daniele Conci. His move from Trento to Tramin can confidently be described as a “transfer hammer”. The beefy attacker, who was already top scorer in the league, replaces the departed Daniel Pfitscher in the lower country and has the class to score over 20 goals this season. With Max Dalpiaz, Conci now forms one of the most dangerous attacking duos in the entire region.

The goal In Tramin they want to “play a comfortable season” – i.e. wrap up relegation as early as possible. A bit low, because the rest of the league also knows: This Tramin team has a lot of potential.

If Tramin were a celebrity, then... David Guetta. A big name that actually always delivers consistently good stuff. Sometimes he even produces outstanding stuff with potential to be at the top, but he also makes one or two faux pas every now and then.
