Oberliga: St. Georgen has put the champagne cold

Due to the regional tournament in Fiuggi, which was on the program during Easter week and in which the junior selection of the Trentino/South Tyrol region took part, only three upper league matches were played on April 17th. The remaining five matches are scheduled for Wednesday at 20 p.m.

Even if pursuer Mori wins the catch-up game and the two remaining games and St. Georgen doesn't score any more points until the end of the season, there could at most be a playoff for promotion. After the 4-2 win against relegated Bozen 96 ten days ago, (almost) nothing stands in the way of St. Georgen's historic promotion to Serie D. In the away game against relegation candidate Comano, Mori will at most try to postpone the championship celebration a little longer.

There is far more explosiveness in the relegation battle than in the title race: Naturns will do everything in its power to score three points in the South Tyrolean duel with Salurn and thus get closer to the safe shore. The same applies to the footballers from Rovereto, who want to free themselves from the relegation vortex in the home game against Brixen.
