Oberliga: St. Georgen’s resurrection – Bozner FC overrun by Trent

In Naturns the world seemed topsy-turvy: after 45 minutes, the home side were ahead 2-0 against favorite St. Georgen thanks to goals from Felix Peer (after a sugar pass from Bacher) and Bacher (after an exemplary counterattack). But “Jergina” coach Patrizio Morini must have found the right words in the dressing room, which is why his team turned the game around in the second 45 minutes. Piffrader first took advantage of a misunderstanding in the Naturns defense, Albanese was spot on after a Harrasser free kick, before Aichner scored the much-celebrated winning goal in the 82nd minute.

Bozner FC goes down against Trento The top game of the round between second-placed Bozner FC and league leaders Trento was much more one-sided. The Talferstädter were only able to keep the first half balanced, but then had to pay tribute to Trento's quality and lost 1:5. With the maximum points of 18 points, the top club from the neighboring province remains on course for Series D.

In the second South Tyrolean derby of the day, Ahrntal inflicted Obermais' first defeat of the season thanks to a 1-0 win. The match winner was Philipp Aichner, who scored the gold goal with his head. Neo-St.'s debut was only partially successful. Martin coach Klaus Schuster: Against bottom team Alense, Daniel Lanthaler only scored in the last minute to equalize 2-2.

Tramin, on the other hand, got three points in Storo (2:1 win), while Eppan (1:2 against Comano), Weinstraße Süd (1:2 against Lavis) and Brixen (0:3 against Arco) didn't score anything.

In the Oberliga, the weekly game day continues on Wednesday.

Oberliga: St. Georgen’s resurrection – Bozner FC overrun by Trent

The sixth league matchday was tough: St. Georgen celebrated its resurrection in Naturns, a series was ended in Ahrntal, while in Bolzano it became clear once again that only one team can win the title this year.
