Oberliga: St. Martin asks Plose to dance on Sunday

In St. Martin in Passeier, people are calmly looking forward to the “big match” of the round. No wonder the “Mortiners” are currently riding a huge wave of success. After a slip-up against Naturns (0-1), Fischer & Co. returned to winning ways on Sunday thanks to a convincing performance against Levico and defeated the Trentino club 3-1. St. Martin and Plose are currently in top form, which is why all signs point to a high-class and exciting match.

Pure South Tyrolean derbies also take place in Brixen (against FC Bozen 96), in Naturns (meets Ahrntal) and in Obermais (against Eppan). The Obermais team scored again last weekend after four defeats in a row. That probably gave Rainer & Co. self-confidence. A simple task - at least on paper - awaits frontrunner Salurn. The Unterlanders, who have conceded just two goals in seven games and therefore have the best defense, are playing against 14th place in the table. Albiano. Tramin (13th), on the other hand, has to deal with the fourth Dro.
