Oberliga: St. Martin can no longer be stopped

SC St. Martin was the only local team to score full points on the week's match day. The Psairers remained unbeaten for the fourth time in a row and chased away the specter of relegation with a hard-fought 2-1 win against fourth-placed Tramin. The team from St. Martin, which was so desolate in the first half of the season, moved past SSV Ahrntal in the ranking, who played a draw at home against Brixen. Both teams drew 1-1.

Naturns remains winless in 2017

Meanwhile, SSV Weinstraße Süd has missed a significant breakthrough. The promoted team had a 3-2 lead against the Naturns team, who were still winless in the second half of the season, but had to accept an equalizer from Matthias Bacher in the final phase. The fourth purely South Tyrolean duel between second-placed Bozner FC and SC St. Georgen ended with a 2-2 draw. Fabio Bertoldi shot the home team into the lead with a brace, but in the second half Philipp Schwingshackl and Lukas Hochwieser secured Puster's points.

Third-place Obermais also had to be content with one point, as it barely managed to score more than 3-3 with relegation candidate Lavis.
