Oberliga: St. Martin also stumbles in Eppan - three cancellations

The biggest surprise came at Eppaner Rungghof, where FCE brought second place St. Martin to its knees 2-0, thus inflicting their second defeat in a row. Two late goals from Vitroler and Filippin were decisive.

St. Martin now has to share second place in the table with SSV Ahrntal, who scored one point in a 1-1 draw against FC Bozen 96. However, much more would have been possible for the “Töldra” in the Drusus Stadium: Tommy Ritsch alone missed two top-class chances in the final minutes. The main star in Bozen was Sapone, who scored in his own goal after just two minutes to make up for his mistake shortly before half-time with Boze 1 making it 1-96.

Alense striker Bonazza also scored twice on matchday 19, giving his team a 2-0 lead against Obermais. Pamer's connection came far too late to secure an important point gain for the Merano team in the relegation battle.

No less than twelve goals were scored in the other two games: Plose gave up a 3-1 lead at home against Mori and had to settle for a 3-3 in the end, while ten Brixners (Martin Ritsch saw red after 15 minutes ) fought self-sacrificingly, but in the end they had to admit defeat to leader Dro 2:4.
