Oberliga: St. Martin helps Salurn take the lead in the table

On the 10th matchday of the Oberliga championship, the leaders Ahrntal faced the state league promoted St.Martin. In a game that was evenly balanced for a long time, the home team from the Passeier Valley managed to defeat the recently convincing guests from the Ahrntal narrowly, but not undeservedly, with a goal from Saltuari in the second half. With the threesome, St. Martin consolidates its fourth place in the table and gains ground on the trio at the top of the table.

Although Salurn couldn't get more than a 96-1 draw at home against Bozen 1, the Unterlanders moved past Ahrntal and went back to the top of the rankings. Dro remained unbeaten against Albiano in the tenth championship game, but is still only in third place with the 1-1 draw.

In the third South Tyrolean derby of the matchday, Tramin celebrated an impressive 5-0 win over Eppan. With the breakthrough after three defeats in a row, Coach Pignatelli's team managed to get out of the bottom of the table. SC Plose can also look forward to three important points. Despite the deficit at the beginning of the second half, player-coach Regele's team won 2-1 in Ala thanks to goals from Hansjörg and Matthias Stockner.

FC Obermais still has to wait for its first win of the season. When Marco Bertoncini made his debut in the dugout, the Blue-Whites lost 0-1 to Comano in front of their own crowd. While the game between Brixen and Mori ended goalless, the match between Levico and Naturns did not even start due to the continuous snowfall in Levico.
