Oberliga: Will Tramin stop Bozner FC’s soaring heights?

The home fans can look forward to three purely South Tyrolean duels on Sunday. Tramin hosts the top league team of the moment, Bozner FC. The Talferstädter have not lost a point for four games in a row. Fabio Bertoldi & Co. want to win the fifth game en suite on matchday 21. Tramin didn't play last Sunday, the match against Levico had to be canceled due to snow. The week before, Pomella's protégés suffered a defeat (1:2 away to leaders Comano) and a 2:0 home win against St. Georgen. In the first half of the season, Tramin won 5-2 against Bozner FC after the “Orange-Blacks” had already led 2-0, but subsequently collapsed completely.

Naturns awaits “favorite opponent” Brixen

Naturns against Brixen is the second duel between two local clubs. The Vinschgers, who had to do without regular goalie Uli Rungg against Brixen, were completely out of sorts in the second half of the season and (with a weakened substitute) were only able to score one point in five matches. The coaching effect - Engl Grünfelder inherited his predecessor Luciano Chini in December - has not yet materialized. Naturns gains confidence when looking at the statistics: In the last seven games against the Eisacktaler, Armin Rungg & Co. celebrated three wins and three draws. The last defeat came in the second half of the 2010/2011 season. And: Of the last three home games against the Domstadt team, the yellow-blue team won two and drew once.

In the Bischofstadt they are probably not entirely satisfied with the results of the second half of the season so far. Five points from five games is not necessarily what one could expect from Gasser's protégés. In the fall, Brixen and Naturns shared the points and the match ended 2-2.

Will Salurn achieve their first three points in the second half of the season? Game number three between two teams from South Tyrol: Salurn against St. Martin. The Oberliga Dino simply can't get up to speed in the second half of the season. The autumn championship title is proving to be a heavy burden for Max Dalpiaz & Co. The Unterlanders only have two points to their name in the spring. On the other hand, the Bertoncini team has already lost out three times. The “Mortiner” are completely different and are brimming with self-confidence after three wins and one draw (with only one defeat). Most recently, the Passeirians beat Plose 4-0 in front of their own audience. In the first half of the season the spoils were shared fraternally (1:1).

Eppan, Ahrntal and Plose in front of their own audience There are home games for Eppan, Ahrntal and Plose. The most explosive duel is probably taking place in Überetsch. Because Eppan hosts Alense, a team that is currently safely in 25th place in the table with 12 points, but which the red-whites could get within three points of if they win.

Ahrntal, which lost the derby against St. Georgen 0-2 a week ago, will face fourth-placed Levico on Sunday. Meanwhile, bottom-placed Plose faces second place Mori. A tough nut for the Regele team to crack.

“Jergina” have to go to Trent St. Georgen is going to Trento. Two Serie D clubs from last year face each other there. An explosive duel that ended 2-2 in the first half of the season.
