Oberliga: Two relegation hits are tough

Naturns against Bozner FC and Brixen against Ahrntal – yes, it couldn't be more relegation spectacle. On the 11th matchday, the four last-placed teams in the championship will play among themselves. Who can free themselves from the pull of relegation? And who is still in trouble?

One thing is clear even before the game begins: two of the youngest teams in the entire championship will meet in Naturns. Both teams always play with more than just two players who fulfill the “youth rule”, so the spectators are in for a special treat - also because Emanuele Bocchio (Bozner FC, 3 goals) and Martin Blaas (Naturns, 4 goals, both born in 1998) will face two of the greatest attacking talents in South Tyrol.

Worst defense against the most harmless storm The second relegation hit will take place on Sunday at 18 p.m. in the youth center in Brixen: There, the Schuster team, the weakest defense (already conceded 36 goals) will face Ahrntal and thus the most harmless attack in the league (only four goals).

The two other South Tyrolean duels are also explosive: St. Martin goalie Rene Pomare and his new club face Obermais and thus his former team, while Tramin plays second-placed Virtus Bozen. With Elis and Arnaldo Kaptina, the Talferstädters also have two players who have worn the Unterlandler uniform in the past.
