Paulsner Morktplotz tournament: draws and real guys

GROUP A The Golden Gunners from Terlan presented themselves like a veteran cinema projectionist: reeling off their usual program. In Group A, the team from the Etschtal valley, filled with numerous players from the local first amateur league team, confidently secured first place with seven points. The Sausalitos can also get a taste of the Champions League atmosphere on Sunday, while Joey Filippin, Julian Torggler and their AbraFil, as well as the Klavenzer Pentagon, have to make do with the Europa League.

GROUP B Would you like a synonym for balance? “Group B” would do well. A synonym for absolute bizarreness? Only a separate table of the teams with the same points brought the decision. Here the team Atletico Sobrepeso prevailed with a difference of +1, ahead of Don Promillos (difference 0), while the Speckies from Kaltern (difference -1) also had to make do with the Europa League with six points.

GROUP It has probably been clear for some time that men from Tschögglberg are made of special wood. But the fact that they are capable of such achievements was a little surprising. The “Bierraten” team, consisting of players from Mölten/Vöran, did not have a single substitute during the entire preliminary round – and still secured group victory.

But that's only half of the drama in Group C: Since the Bozner FC players from 1. SCK Latzler and the Schenner footballers from Moscardelli Party Army ended up tied with four points and 7:7 goals Second place had to be decided by lot. And here the people of Bolzano had the better end for themselves. Even a clean four-pack from Moscardelli striker Thomas “Proarer” Mair in the last game couldn’t change that.
