BVB star Aubameyang is moving to Arsenal FC - Batshuayi is coming until the end of the season

Dortmund (SID) Top scorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is leaving Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund and moving to Arsenal FC with immediate effect. BVB announced the transfer for an official fee of 63,75 million euros on Wednesday after weeks of poker. As a successor, Dortmund have loaned Belgian international Michy Batshuayi from English champions FC Chelsea until the end of the season. Initially nothing was known about the term of Aubameyang's contract in London. BVB announced that the contract with the Gabonese, which runs until 2021, had been terminated. "Apart from the unpleasant events of the past few weeks, we like to remember that the story of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at BVB was a success story over more than four years," said BVB sports director Michael Zorc. Aubameyang did great things for Borussia Dortmund during this time, "scored many important goals and is part of the team that brought the DFB Cup to Dortmund in 2017." About Aubameyang's successor Batshuayi, Zorc said: "Michy is a young, very interesting striker who impresses with a high goal rate and has already proven his exceptional quality at both Chelsea FC and Olympique Marseille, in the Belgian league and the national team ." The attacker will receive the shirt number 44 at BVB. The Dortmund team initially did not comment on a possible purchase option for the 24-year-old. "In order to achieve my big goal, I want to play as much as possible and score as many goals as possible. The World Cup will take place in the summer," said the Belgian international striker, referring to the tournament in Russia. Aubameyang (28) recently provoked his departure. He was suspended for the Bundesliga game against VfL Wolfsburg (0-0), and was not in the squad for Hertha BSC (1-1) due to a poor training attitude.
