Cup: St. Georgen already has one leg in the final

In the first leg of the two-team circle, Oberliga leaders St. Georgen left no stone unturned against state league team Latsch and won comfortably 3-0. After just seven minutes, defender Leo Brugger made it 1-0, then Matthias Bacher and Thomas Piffrader increased the score.

In the second game of the day, Oberliga team Obermais and State league team Leifers drew 0-0. The two coaches Klotzner and Cosa gave numerous players a breather and let many youth players play. Nevertheless, there were three hits on the crossbar, two on the side of the Unterlanders, one on the side of the Meraners, who missed a huge chance in the finish with Stricker. Both teams took one point each. Obermais will now compete against the third team in the league, Virtus Bozen, on November 8th, while Leifers will ask the Talferstadters to dance at their home a week later. The winner of the three-person circle advances to the final.
