Positive final conclusion about the DFB training camp in South Tyrol

At the press conference on Monday morning, Governor Arno Kompatscher, Chamber of Commerce President Michl Ebner, as well as Urban Perkmann and Georg Lun from the WIFO Institute took a look back at the German footballers' training stay in the Passeier Valley. “The reporting during the World Cup preparations was priceless advertising for South Tyrol. The fact that Germany ultimately won the title in Brazil made the whole collaboration even more successful. The positive image of our country has been further consolidated,” says Arno Kompatscher with certainty. Richard Fink from the Hotel Amadeus in St. Leonhard confirms the governor's opinion. “After the German team’s World Cup triumph, our hotel and the sports facility in St. Martin became true places of pilgrimage. Until the end of the summer season, up to a hundred fans came every day just to take a souvenir photo.”
