Professional clubs get started: All test matches in South Tyrol at a glance

SpVgg Unterhaching (3rd league) kicked off on Saturday with a 4-1 friendly win in Schlanders against TSG Balingen (Regionalliga), but it is only this week that the friendly program of the professional clubs in South Tyrol is really picking up speed.

The German second division relegated FC Ingolstadt is testing its form twice: The Schanzer are leaving their training camp in Vals for an international friendly against the Swiss first division club FC Lugano. The game will be played on Wednesday in the BoznerArena on the Talferwiesen. On Saturday afternoon, however, Ingolstadt will compete against the Austrian second division champions Wattens in Brixen.

The first Serie A club in South Tyrol will also hold a test match on Saturday. ASV Prad's amateur league footballers get the chance to show off their skills against Parma. The former European Cup winner arrived in Prad on Monday and will spend two weeks preparing for the upcoming season.

Parma's league rivals Bologna are expected in Castelrotto on Thursday. The old master from Emilia-Romagna's first test match kick is planned for next Sunday in the Laranz sports zone against regional league relegated SG Schlern.
