There were only a few seconds left until the final whistle and the score was goalless. The last attack by the home team decided the game and the selection from South Tyrol was left empty-handed. A draw would have been a fairer result, even against a technically very adept opponent. In addition, a draw and four points would have been another important step in advancing to the quarter-finals. The home team, who won the opening match against Trentino 2-1, started the game with intensity and a lot of momentum. After around 12 minutes it was Palombaro who made his first mark, but his shot went over the South Tyrolean goal. A little later, goalkeeper Piz was very attentive to a corner from Balducci, which he had aimed directly at the goal. The goalkeeper was once again the center of attention a few moments later when he defused a shot on goal from Dema. Even an attempt by Capitoli did not bring the hoped-for result for the home team. After around half an hour, the home team once again came dangerously close to the Piz goal with a sharp cross from D'Intino. Before half-time, Curri tried an artificial shot outside the penalty area, but his overhead kick was well received by Piz, who directed the ball onto the post with his hand. From there the ball bounced into the goal. Coach Harald Kiem's selection had difficulty creating danger, but defended very cleverly.

In the second half, Di Norcia tried a long-range shot that clearly missed the target. As a result, it was the Bolzano selection that had opportunities. First with Stefan Frötscher, then with Davi in a promising position. Kuppelwieser also tried his luck with a long shot. When everything was already pointing to a goalless draw, D'Intino slammed a free kick onto the post. The ball bounced back into the field and reached substitute Santirocco, who fired a powerful shot from a distance, leaving Piz in the South Tyrolean goal no chance to defend. The ball flew off the bottom edge of the crossbar and into the goal. In the last group game the team meets Trentino and plays for a place in the quarter-finals. The neighboring province has so far remained without winning any points. The women's team didn't let themselves be disturbed by the draw against Sicily on the first match day. Coach Fabio Pelanda's selection played against the hosts as they are used to: very focused and with the necessary degree of ease. The South Tyroleans got into the game right away and took the lead with their first opportunity. Evangelista deflected a shot from Erlacher into his own goal. As a result, Battaglioli missed the 2-0. Abruzzo appeared dangerous for the first time with Berardi. Gerstgrasser, Kuenrath and Mair had good opportunities in the first half. Especially with Mair's chance, the opposing goalkeeper had to go above and beyond to prevent anything worse from happening. In the second half, the Pelanda team managed the game and repeatedly created good opportunities. Mair's missed chance was just a foretaste that the second goal would soon be due. And so it happened in the 64th minute. Once again it was Erlacher who netted. In response, Abruzzo only had a shot from Paolucci, but goalkeeper Götsch was able to save it brilliantly. The comparison between the selection from South Tyrol and Abruzzo in the A-youth ended with a 1:2 defeat. The home team had their first opportunity of the game, but Chizzali was there when Leonzi shot. Coach Manuel Obrist's team found their first opportunity with Caruso, but his shot landed in Albertini's arms. A little later, in the 13th minute, the A-youth team from South Tyrol took the lead. The opposing goalkeeper made a mistake on a free kick, which Von Wenzl took advantage of to take the lead. Abruzzo's response was not long in coming. With the first opportunity, Pantoni chased the ball next to the goal, and with the second attempt by the same player, goalkeeper Chizzali had to intervene. On the counterattack, a shot from Gallo did not find its way into the opponent's goal. In the 34th minute the equalizer came with a bad aftertaste. After a free kick from the left side, goalscorer Pontoni reached out to help. But the referee didn't blow his whistle. In the second half, Leonzi tested Chizzali. In the 17th minute of the second half, a stroke of genius from Sall was decisive. Chizzali had no chance to defend against a hard but precise long-range shot. Leonzi and Fabriani then tried unsuccessful long-range shots. The home team's goalkeeper went above and beyond when Bordoni had an opportunity and thus prevented coach Obrist's team from getting a deserved equalizer. Second defeat for coach Wolfgang Crepaz's B youth team. After the unfortunate 0-1 defeat against Sicily, there was a clear 1-5 defeat in the second game against Abruzzo. The home side took the lead after just 13 minutes after a quick attack through Pepe. Just two minutes later it was 2-0 for Abruzzo. The South Tyrol team was still reorganizing itself when Dishko, sliding into the ball, converted a cross from the side into the second goal. After the shock, coach Crepaz's players tried to react, but had difficulty getting dangerously in front of the opponent's goal. Shortly before the half-time whistle the preliminary decision. Giampietro headed a cross from the left to make it 3-0 for the home team. There were a number of changes in the second half. There was also a change in the goalkeeper position. Gögele, who was not used against Sicily on Saturday, played for Panzanini in the second half. Eight minutes were played in the second half and Abruzzo increased the lead to 8-4. Gögele had no chance to defend against a free kick from the left. In the 0th minute of the second half, Gögele was able to prevent Bentivolgio from making it 12-0, but he also had no chance when Fazzini's follow-up shot. In the final phase, the B youth selection was at least able to score a consolation goal, which resulted from an own goal by the home team.

On Sunday the second day of the regional tournament in Abruzzo was on the agenda. From a South Tyrolean perspective, the women's team achieved their only victory.
