Roland Harrasser: “St. Georgen wants the next title”

St. Georgen is really dying for the final, which will take place in Lavis on Saturday from 14.30 p.m. On a pitch where the “Jergina” have never played in their club history. “The mood in our team is good. The win against Virtus Don Bosco was huge and of course the celebration afterwards. But that's already been checked off again. Now we want to nail our heads in this final too. That’s why training really got going,” says Roland Harrasser, the captain of St. Georgen.

A win against Calciochiese would mean qualification for the cup competition at national level. This would mean a new, very valuable experience, especially for the young players. Also with a view to a possible promotion to Serie D. “I won the regional cup eight or nine years ago as a young player and after that we were allowed to play outside the region. It was a very nice experience, especially because the cup is all or nothing. “But not only our boys would have a new, beautiful experience, it would also be a great experience for us, more mature players,” continued Harrasser.

Coach Morini will be spoiled for choice on Saturday. With the exception of Thomas Albanese and Martin Ritsch, all players are available to the coach of the traditional Puster club. “All the players trained well, especially those who didn’t play on Saturday against Virtus. They want to show our coach that they too are worthy of a final,” explains Harrasser.

A possible lineup has not yet been leaked. However, Patrizio Morini will certainly field the players he believes are most suitable for this game. Because one thing is certain: the “Jergina” coach is also keen on the next title.
