CRIME SCENE 1st Amateur League, Group B : The Straight Tower of Pisa Score three goals and only play 0-0? What at first glance seems as unimaginable as a straight tower of Pisa happened exactly the same on Sunday in Albeins. Suffering party? The guests of SV Natz, who in the end only took one point instead of three.

The Natzers were successful on corners three times and started to celebrate in the top game, but were ultimately called back by the referee each time. It's a bit like ordering a beer at Oktoberfest over and over again, but only getting a small Coca-Cola - and you don't know why. In the first half, striker Manuel Hofer scored with a header to make it 1-0, but is said to have fouled an opponent beforehand. Also in the first half, it was Alexander Mayr who pushed the pill behind the line with his foot - but here too the referee called for a foul. Well, all good things come in threes after all. And so it was captain Armin Ferretti himself who maneuvered a corner cross into the net in the final minutes. But, you guessed it, the referee's (foul) whistle came here too. Instead of celebrating the winning goal on slipping knees, the captain had to trot back into his own half with his head bowed. It remained 0-0.

Speaking of Oktoberfest: Some Natzer players didn't let the draw dampen their spirits and raised a big toast at the largest folk festival in Munich shortly after the game. Hopefully not just with a small Coca-Cola.

CRIME SCENE Oberliga : Ouch Little to nothing came together for Brixen against Lavis, which the final result of 2:6 clearly underlines. One scene in particular made it clear that it was a busy day for the Eisacktalers. Youngster Manuel Pavan came on as a substitute in the 75th minute, but collided with an opponent just a few seconds later and had to be substituted with a head injury just three minutes after coming on. Get well soon.
