Sami Khedira is an ambassador for Porsche youth development

Stuttgart (SID) Soccer world champion Sami Khedira (30) supports Porsche's youth development. The Juventus midfield star becomes the new ambassador for “Turbo for Talents”. With the project, the sports car manufacturer supports youth work in the sporting and social areas at various partner clubs in the Stuttgart and Leipzig region. For his work on behalf of disadvantaged and sick children and young people with the Sami Khedira Foundation, he received the Order of Merit of the State of Baden-Württemberg in 2016. "I had a great childhood, but I know that there are children and young people in my homeland who don't have the same opportunities and the same luck as me," said Khedira. The ex-Stuttgart native appears as an ambassador at events such as the “Porsche Night of Talents” in Stuttgart in May. During his first appearance as part of the partnership in the "Talentschuppen", the ice rink for the SC Bietigheim-Bissingen Steelers' youth teams, Khedira already got to know some young athletes from the partner clubs.
