Schwaz follows St. Georgen into the Euregio Cup final

At the beginning of the game it seemed like a clear thing for the Austrian third division club Schwaz against Oberliga club Rotaliana. After around a quarter of an hour, former Austrian international Ronald Cercaliu gave the North Tyroleans the lead. After a little more than 30 minutes, Johannes Kinzner increased the score to 2-0 for Schwaz. Practically in return, Nicola Dalla Valle - standing a few steps in front of the goal - scored the goal for Trent and they were back in the game.

USD Rotaliana had its best phase at the beginning of the second half, but missed a number of good equalizing opportunities. After the Trentinos' storm and pressure phase, Schwaz was able to make the game more balanced again and remained dangerous, especially with counterattacks. In the final phase, Daniele Speziale missed the possible 2:2. In stoppage time, Michele Poli defused an indirect free kick in the penalty area from Rahman Jawadi. Two more goals were scored in stoppage time. First, after a counterattack, Manuel Gstrein increased the score to 3:2 for the North Tyroleans. In return, the referee whistled a penalty after a foul and Maro Zentil converted it with a Panenka penalty to make the final score 3-2.

So on Sunday ASC St. Georgen will meet Schwaz in the final, while Rotaliana will play against hosts Matrei.

Schwaz follows St. Georgen into the Euregio Cup final

Thanks to a 3-2 win over Rotaliana, SC Schwaz moved into the Kerschdorf Euregio Cup final 2018. The opponent will be ASC St. Georgen, who previously also defeated host Matrei 3-2.
