Schweinsteiger becomes a football expert at ARD

“For many, Bastian Schweinsteiger is the hero of the 2014 World Cup, who fought through the final against Argentina despite injuries and played a key role in securing the victory and thus the World Cup title. First highlight: EM 2020 Schweinsteiger is to accompany the live football broadcasts on Erste for three years up to and including the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The first highlight of his work should be the European Championships 2020.

Schweinsteiger spent most of his career with German record champions Bayern Munich, for whom he played 500 competitive games.
