Series D: St. Georgen wants to end the losing streak

Both clubs are currently lagging behind in form in the second half of the season. So far, St. Georgen has won the full points twice and Tamai once, namely in the game against the bottom of the table ISM Gradisca, against whom the “Jergina” lost 1:2 last Sunday.

In the first half of the season, Tamai and St. Georgen played a tactically and technically sophisticated game. In the first half, the South Tyroleans led 2-0, but the team from Veneto equalized within two minutes in the 70th to make it 2-2 and finally took the lead. A few minutes before the end of the game, Hansi Mair scored the deserved 3-3 final score from the penalty spot.

While coach Pat Morini can make full use of the team for the first time in several months and send his best team onto the field, Tamai coach Gianluca Birtig has some line-up concerns. In addition to Paolo Zanardo, who moved to Delta Porto Tolle in the winter, the White-Reds will also be missing captain and playmaker Renzo Nonis and the dangerous Slovenian Luka Spetic due to suspensions. Nevertheless, with Giacomini, Grujic and Lella, there are extremely dangerous top players in the guests' ranks.
