St. Georgen is picking up speed again

The ASC St. Georgen continues where it left off in late autumn. The superior league leaders defeated SSV Brixen in the derby 2-1 from the field and maintained their seven-point lead over pursuers Levico. Philipp Schwingshack and Martin Ritsch shot the “Jergina” into the lead before Christian Vecchio created tension again. In the final phase, Brixen still had the chance to equalize, but missed a penalty kick by Priller in the final minute.

St. Georgen could not rely on support from Bozner FC. The orange-blacks lost 0-1 in Levico in the last minute. There was also nothing to gain for SC St. Martin, who had no chance in the 0-3 defeat against Calciochiese.

But Virtus Don Bosco remains at the top of the table. The ambitious newcomer defeated table newcomers St. Pauls 3-0 on home soil. Manuel Mariz and double goalscorer Pasquale Perri broke the necks of the Überetscher team.

Rellich and Greif shoot Tramin to victory

In the third purely South Tyrolean duel, ASV Tramin held its own. The fourth-place team beat SSV Ahrntal 2-0 thanks to a very strong first half. A few kilometers further north, FC Eppan fully lived up to its role as favorite in the 3-0 win against Fersina.

Salurn appears completely unleashed

The biggest exclamation mark was made on the first day of the second half of the season by ASV Salurn, who were in impressive shape in the neighboring duel against Lavis. The Unterlanders celebrated a 4-1 goal festival.

St. Georgen is picking up speed again

There is no sign of hibernation in the major league. The 21 teams started the second half of the season on Sunday with a whopping 16 goals. St. Georgen, Tramin, Eppan, Salurn and Virtus Don Bosco were outstanding.
